Babies & Toddlers
St Peter’s is a thriving church family, and we aim to encourage toddlers, children and teenagers to learn about God through enjoyable and relaxed activities. We provide a safe and nuturing environment for preschool children led by trained volunteers.
During the week
Little Fishes Parent and Toddler Group
Friday mornings 9:30am-11:15am, in the Court House just next to St Peter’s (term time)
Little Fishes is a toddler group for children under 4 and their parents/guardians. At Little Fishes there is a variety of toys to play with and creative activities and refreshments are on offer. There is a story and singing each week from 11am. On the first Friday of every month there is a children’s service in the church from 10 – 10:30am.
On Sundays
Sunday School
Sunday school runs during the 9.30am Sunday service during term time. This is for children of primary school age (reception – year 6). Younger children/siblings are welcome to join us, but we ask that they are accompanied. The sessions involve reflection on the Gospel reading for that day, seasonal celebrations or other bible stories that can inspire the way we live. We use craft, drama and group activities, often generating great discussion and ideas from the children.
