Prayer requests
At St Peter’s, prayer is a vital part of our everyday life.
During our daily services, we include intercessions for people who have asked for prayers, bringing before God people who are struggling with illness or bereavement or anyone suffering physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Ways to Pray
- You are welcome to come into St Peter’s Church to pray in person, or for quiet contemplation. The church is open all day, every day.
- Our side chapel offers a quiet, secluded space for prayer. You are welcome to light a candle prayerfully.
- There is also a prayer board next to the chapel where you can write you request for prayers on a card.
- You can also send requests to us by email using the Prayer Request Form below. You don’t need to give us your name – we just need to know a little about who or what you like us to pray for, or a person’s needs or problems.
And if you are in need of someone to talk to, our Pastoral Support Group offers a listening ear.
Please note that use of this form is now limited to one request per day.
