Victoria School news
It has been a shorter week but we still have packed in lots of things at school. The Kindness Ambassadors had a meeting with other schools where we shared our ideas about setting up Kindness Jars in every class and having a Kindness challenge for children to complete at break times. It is a great opportunity to find out what others are doing to promote kindness, taking away lots of ideas we can use at Victoria.
Our Spiritual Ambassadors also met to discuss Collective Worship and they talked about how they really enjoyed coming together as a school, exploring stories from the Bible and being part of the Collective Worship. They also started to think about what does spirituality mean to them and how it is about being in the moment, exploring the wonder around them and how they feel.
We were very excited about the author visit from Sarah Coyle who came to share with the children her choose your own adventure books. They had a great time suggesting what to do and developing the story through the options given in the book.
