Victoria School news
Welcome back, with this week being a shorter one we still have managed to squeeze in a school trip to Tiggywinkles for Year 1 and a visit from Zoolab for our Early Years children.
Our focus in worship this week is the story of the ‘Empty Tomb’. We started with thinking about how Mary felt when seeing the empty tomb and how sad it made her feel. We then talked about how Mary at first didn’t recognise Jesus and thought he was the gardener, but on hearing his voice she knew it was him. We felt the story gave a message of hope, especially after an upsetting event and we should share that hope with each other, like Mary did when she tells the others that she has seen Jesus.
And finally, our Nursery children were very excited when they arrived on Tuesday to play on their new outdoor area. With the new decking, they have a much bigger area to explore and more space to pedal their ride on toys.
