Victoria School meets Rabbi Neil
At Harvest, we had a special visit from Rabbi Neil Janes who brought along his travelling Sukkah as part of the Jewish festival of Sukkot. The children got to go into the Sukkah and learn about how it is used in the celebration. They got to see the Lulav and etrog- fruit of the goodly trees. All of the children listened so well and had lots of interesting questions to ask Rabbi Neil.
We also had a visit from the author Paula Harrison who talked about her book Kitty and the Missing Pumpkins. The children worked with the author to create a super person called Horse Girl who could super gallop and would be super fast. The children love the author visits, and they got to take a signed copy of the book home.
