Thanking our retired priests
While Fr Stuart has been on sabbatical, our retired priests have been working additional hours to lead our worship and preside at funerals. To express our thanks as a parish for all this extra work, we are collecting money to buy gifts for Fr Chris, Fr David, Fr Anthony and Margaret. This is meant to be a surprise, so please keep it quiet and don’t tell them! To contribute, please hand cash in a suitably clandestine manner to either churchwarden Tim or churchwarden Carolynne. (NB this week’s email is being filtered so the retired clergy won’t see this!)
