Swan Youth Centre fundraiser
On Wednesday evening, St Peter’s was filled with music and joy at the Christmas Celebration concert, organised by Berkhamsted & District Chamber of Commerce. The Ridgeway Chorale provided a range of seasonal anthems from Rutter to Darke, singer John Knowles sang John Lennon and Wham! hits, and everyone joined in traditional Christmas hymns. Inspirational readings came from young people from the Swan Youth Project and Berkhamsted School, there was a visit from the Cheeky Christmas Elf, and we also welcomed food journalist Nigel Barden, Berkhamsted Mayor Sue Jordan, and a surprise visit from Victoria Collis MP.
Parul Dix of the Swan Youth Project and organiser Charlie Hussey were thrilled with the event, which raised around £1500 for the Swan Youth Project!
