Summer Term at Victoria School
Welcome back to the last term before the summer holidays. This week we have been focusing on the story of ‘Doubting Thomas’ where I started worship asking the children if they believed the three facts I told them about myself. We explored the idea that they had no proof other than my word that these facts were true, which made it easier for the children to focus on the message of the story of Thomas.
Next week we are celebrating the Great Big Green Week with year groups focusing on the theme of ‘Let’s swap together for good’. Early years are looking at recycling, Year 1 will be recording their food waste and Year 2 will be doing a litter pick around the school and alleyway. On Thursday we are all going to wear something green to highlight the importance of sustainability.
