Remembrance at Victoria School
This week has been Kindness Week where we have been completing many acts of kindness out, in and around the school. We looked at the science of how kindness can be good for your brain, releasing a ‘happy hormone’ and that happiness will spread to others. Our Positive Noticing Day, had all our children going home with a label that had a positive message to share with their families. Even the staff got messages to share with each other.
The Spiritual Ambassadors were very proud to take part in Remembrance on Tuesday, where we took our hand-made wreath and shared in the silence with the local community. It created a lot of discussion on the way back about why we have Remembrance and the children continued to learn about it back at school.
