RSCM medals
Congratulations to four of our choristers, Joseph, Lizzie, Georgie (all Bronze level) and Amelia (Silver level) who recently did so well in their Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) exams – three of whom were awarded their medals by Archdeacon Charles on Easter Sunday morning. The awards are part of the RSCM’s Voice for Life programme, which builds musical skills in young choristers, and is a vital part of maintaining our choral tradition. This is a tribute to their hard work and dedication to the choir, and a reminder of the superb opportunities that St Peter’s Choir offers to our young people. Special thanks are also due to Chris Beauchamp – in addition to all that he does accompanying our weekly worship on the organ, he has been working very hard behind the scenes to offer our choristers free training.
