DENS Winter Appeal
With freezing nights ahead, local homelessness charity, DENS, has launched its Winter Appeal. Homelessness is rising, and DENS urgently needs your help to ensure no one is turned away this winter. On the DENS website you can read Amy’s story – a young woman who suddenly found herself homeless with her dog, Ted. Amy’s story shows how quickly life can unravel, and DENS helped her to rebuild her life with Ted still by her side. Your gift this Christmas can provide safety, warmth and hope for someone like Amy.
You can also help with your shopping – pick up a DENS shopping list at the back of church and take it when you go to Waitrose or Tesco. There are donation crates inside each shop where you can give to local food banks.
