Come and Sing Evensong in Harpenden
Join in a “Come and Sing” Choral Evensong at St Nicholas Church on Church Green in Harpenden AL5 2TP, directed by Chris Muhley (St Albans Cathedral) and organist Nicholas King. Music to include canticles by Brewer in D, Howells’ anthem “Like as the hart”, responses by Smith and Hurford (vocal forces permitting), plus a psalm and hymns. It will be a really good sing and it’s free to take part! All welcome – some music reading skills are necessary, and friends and family who are not singing are welcome to attend the service. 5pm rehearsal, 6.30 service.
