Christmas Best Dressed Shop Window Competition winner
Each year, Berkhamsted Citizens Association run a Best Dressed Shop Window Competition to encourage local businesses to make our town look festive for the Festival of Light and the Advent/Christmas season. This year’s winner was Orchid Estate Agent on Lower Kings Road. Orchid had children ages 5-8 from Bridgewater School create little model houses for the display. The runner-up this year was &Quirky gift shop opposite the Rex; two window displays were highly commended – Woods Garden Centre and Forge Boutique ladieswear; and two charity shops were praised, Rennie Grove and The Hospice of St Francis.
