Appointment of the next Bishop of St Albans: Public Consultation Meeting
On Tuesday, the Diocese of St Albans is holding a public consultation meeting for the appointment of the next Bishop of St Albans. This will be an online live video meeting place via Zoom, and will be hosted by the Very Reverend Jo Kelly-Moore, Dean of St Albans Cathedral and Chair of the Vacancy in See Committee. In attendance will be Mr Jonathan Hellewell, the Prime Minister’s Secretary for Appointments and Mr David Wicksteed, the Archbishops’ Appointments and Vocations Adviser, together with Mr David White, the Diocesan Secretary.
After an initial welcome and introduction, regarding the context and process for the appointment, those attending will be invited to comment on the needs of the Diocese and the characteristics and qualities which they feel are needed in the next Bishop of St Albans.
