All Saints organ recitals
All Saints Church on Shrublands Road recently installed a new Viscount digital organ (to replace their 40 year old Makin organ). The new organ was purchased by All Saints thanks to a very generous donation from Colin Garrett in memory of his wife, Sarah, who died in June 2024. Sarah was much loved at All Saints where she had played the piano beautifully for the Chuckles toddler group for 25 years.
Our friends at All Saints would like to invite you to a series of summer recitals on the Sarah Garrett organ, on the first Sunday of the month from June to September:
- Sunday 1 June – Michael Stoddart
- Sunday 6 July – Peter Wright
- Sunday 3 August – Charles Wooler
- Sunday 7 September – Tom Winpenny
All recitals are 2.30pm-4pm, with an interval for tea and biscuits. There will be a retiring collection to cover the costs of the recitals with any surplus going to All Saints Church funds.
