The Rex on ITV
If you’ve been watching the ITV cop drama Code of Silence, you may have spotted a couple of well-known Berkhamsted landmarks – in episode one, there’s a bar scene filmed in Prime Steak and Grill in Berkhamsted Town Hall, and in episode four, the Rex Cinema makes an appearance! Filming took several days, with a fleet of vans, crates of lighting equipment and production crew all outside the Berkhamsted locations – the Rex cinema scene is on-screen for all of two minutes!
The drama is set in Canterbury, but filming locations were mostly in Hertfordshire, including Hemel Hempstead Old Town, Watford police station and Wrotham Park. You can watch the series on ITVX on your smart TV or online:
