Saturday’s Arts & Crafts Fair
On Saturday we held a fundraising Arts & Crafts Fair in the Court House to raise more money towards our Renovation Appeal. It was a superb events and drew in lots of people, quite a few dogs, and visitors from as far afield as Towcester and Toronto! Participating artists gave a donation to St Peter’s from their sales, and several people kindly baked cakes for us to sell. The total raised on the day was £1,351.
Huge thanks are due to Carolynne Charman for organising this successful event. Our thanks are also due to our artists and makers who exhibited: Elinor Mumford, Caroline Waterstone, Teddy Fox Cards (Hannah Beauchamp), Kate Dean, Mary Casserley, Debbie Shrimpton and author Penelope Abbott, and also to everyone who lent a hand in setting up/breaking down, and to all who baked cakes or served refreshments. Thank you – it was a wonderful team effort!
