A message from Fr Anthony
At the end of our Parish Mass last Sunday, we paid tribute to Fr Anthony Lathe, who is stepping down from active ministry after 64 years (and 19 years at Great Berkhamsted). We presented him with a gift of his favourite single malt whisky as a token of our love and gratitude. Fr Anthony says:
“Thank you all so much for the kindness shown to me last Sunday on my second retirement. The very generous gift and the many kind messages are very greatly appreciated. It has been an honour and privilege, not to say good fortune, to be able to take a leading part in the worship of St Peter’s for so long. A big THANK YOU!”
