The Great Big Nature Hunt
Rectory Lane Cemetery is teeming with wildlife and wild flowers! As part of Berkhamsted’s Great Big Green Week, everyone is invited to this free family event, exploring St Peter’s historic cemetery (behind the Rex Cinema) with interactive resources and guides. Children are invited to wear something GREEN, to celebrate Great Big Green Week! This is a free event, but donations are welcome towards the upkeep of the Cemetery as a volunteer-run community green space. Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day. Come and discover the secret lives of birds, bees, bugs, newts, hedgehogs, ants, buttercups, grasses and much much more – a super Father’s Day activity for the whole family! 10am-1pm.
