Retired clergy thanks
While Fr Stuart has been on sabbatical, our retired priests have been working additional hours to lead our worship and preside at funerals. To express our thanks as a parish for all this extra work, we held a secret collection to buy M&S vouchers for them, which were presented at the end of last week’s morning service.
The retired clergy team were very touched last Sunday when they were presented with gifts thanking them for all they had done during Fr Stuart’s period of study leave. We are deeply grateful for your generosity, and also our ability to continue our ministry in retirement at St Peter’s. A thousand thanks to everyone at St Peter’s.
