Victoria School news
The Reception children had their visit to Berkhamsted Library where they found out about how to take books out, how the self-scan works, and they got to explore the wide range of children’s books available. It was lovely seeing all the children returning with a library book.
We have been encouraging everyone to walk to school this week. This year’s challenge was The Great Space Walk, with different themes each day looking at walking being good for your health, well-being and environment. When doing our hands up survey, it was great that so many of our children walk to school.
The focus for worship was the story of Saul, where the children discussed how everyone can change their views and that is goodness in all. This linked well with our Kindness quote for this week which was ‘Be kind to unkind people. They need it the most’.
