We started the week with a visit from Liz Fost who came to do a storytelling session of The Lion Inside. The children pretended to be the different animals in the story as they acted out the story. It was a great session where one of our favourite books was brought to life by the story telling skills of Liz.

During worship the children were finding out about Pentecost. They were puzzled by how the disciples were not hurt by the flames that appeared above their heads but we talked about miracles and how somethings are hard to explain. We talked about the Holy Spirit being God’s love and guidance within us all and how it helps us when we need comfort or face challenges.

Our Kindness Ambassadors launched our Kindness Jars for each class. As part of their mission is to spread kindness across the school, they wanted to have a place where acts of kindness could be written down, stored and shared with the class. We also started our weekly kindness quote with this week being ‘No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.’
