Victoria School news
This week we have been focusing on the Parable of the Sower, introducing the idea of a kind heart where if you do things with a good intention, good things will be produced in that person’s life. We talked about how they can use this in their lives and the children talked about supporting others, growing friendships and caring for each other. They also mentioned if someone was not kind in their heart but on the surface that this was like the seeds on the rocks or falling into the weeds.
Part of my job that I really enjoy is going to around the classes and seeing what the children are learning. I was delighted when I went up to Nursery to see all the fun they were having with the chalk. Mrs Sargeant was on the floor and the children were drawing around her as part of exploring mark making. They also all lay down to in a long line to draw how long a giant squid was and it was as nearly long as the classroom!
