This week is Kindness Week and we have been busy ‘Choosing Respect’. We all wore odd socks on Tuesday to show that everyone is unique and different. We talked about how to show respect which included helping others, using kind words and making sure we don’t leave anyone out. There were lots of different styles of socks from flowers, dinosaurs and even traffic stop go ones. On Wednesday it was Positive Noticing Day where everyone (staff and children) passed on positive comments to each other. All the children went home with a label that had a positive comment to share with their family.

Yetis Don't Exist! We also had Loretta Schauer, an illustrator who came and led a master class on how to draw characters from her latest book Yetis Don’t Exist! The children were very creative with their ideas and had fun designing their yetis. It has been a very busy week, with one of the children saying to me this has been the best week ever!
