It has been a busy couple of weeks with Stay and Play sessions, welcoming our new children and families and lots of exciting activities in between. We had a fantastic Sports Day where the children displayed our school values of kindness, friendship, resilience and thankfulness. Every year group had a child chosen who had shown these values during the activities and they were so proud.

We also had our YR2 Leavers Assembly where the children fast forwarded to the future, returning to Victoria for a school reunion. All the children spoke about the memories of being at Victoria and there were plenty of songs. The families were very moved and many needed the tissues that were on hand. It is always sad to say good bye to our Year 2 children but it is exciting to see them off on their next adventure at their new schools.

The children had an RE theme day where we learnt about St Peter and why we have the cross keys on our uniform. The children learnt about St Peter through drama and art where they made cross keys out of clay and drew their vision of Heaven, looking through a key hole. It was a really enjoyable day for all.
