Treasurer vacancy
We now have a vacancy for a treasurer to look after the finances of St Peter’s Great Berkhamsted.
Skills & experience
- If you have experience as an accountant or auditor then that would enable you to understand just about everything (or everything) immediately.
- Otherwise, being comfortable with numbers is petty much a necessity, and being very competent with Excel is extremely useful.
- Being interested in the money side of things is well worthwhile.
- Principally if you believe that your personal finances are well organised, the record keeping is clear and they could be explained to other people, then you should be able to do a pretty good job with the Church finances.
