Swan Youth Project on BBC News
The Swan Youth Project do wonderful work for teenagers by offering a drop-in space, a programme of activities, hot food and mental health support. Even in Berkhamsted, many families struggle to put food on the table, and there are teens who are dealing with anxiety and depression. The Swan’s work helps young people to focus more on their education, do their homework, have better relationships at home and reduces anti-social behaviour. This week, BBC News featured the Swan, and explored the funding difficulties they are facing as council grants are being cut. Read more:
