Super Archie’s Army
This smashing little boy is Archie – he was known to quite a few of us in Berkhamsted. In 2018, Archie was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Very sadly, after a long battle, Archie passed away aged 2 years and 10 months. Last Tuesday would have been Archie’s 10th birthday. His parents Max and Alex and their friends and neighbours are determined that he will never be forgotten. Since Archie’s diagnosis, they have been running a fundraising campaign, Super Archie’s Army. So far they have raised nearly £35,000 for Solving Kids’ Cancer UK, a charity devoted to supporting other children and their families battling cancer.
