Southwark Cathedral evensong
Last Saturday, St Peter’s Church Choir sang a service of choral evensong at Southwark Cathedral in London. It’s such a wonderful privilege for parish choirs to visit cathedrals and join in worship, and it provides our young choristers with a fantastic experience. Well done to all who took part – the Succentor was most appreciative of our choir’s contribution to worship. It was also a joy to be joined by Fr Steve Jullien, who is serving his curacy in the Diocese of Southwark, to lead the prayers. Thank you to all who came down into London to join us in the service.
