RSCM Music Sunday
On RSCM Music Sunday we celebrated church music and church musicians. We are so grateful to Adrian, Chris and our choir, who all worked very hard to produce additional music, and give thanks for their contribution to our weekly worship. At our morning Eucharist and at a special Choral Evensong, the choir sang music by a Bletchley Park codebreaker, a D-Day veteran who taught organ to Dudley Moore, composers of music for Tsar Aleksandr III and Kaiser Francis II, and together we sang a hymn by St Patrick himself, and a hymn by a composer with a surprising connection to Ashlyns School.
