RSCM medals
Slightly belated congratulations are due to two of our younger choristers, who have been awarded their first RSCM medals and blue ribbons. Well done boys, and keep up the good work!
St Peter’s Church Choir offers a free musical education to girls and boys through the Royal School of Church Music’s Voice for Life programme, equipping them with musical skills that can take them on to further achievements in future life. Our choristers learn about using the voice, reading music, music history and working in a team. As a child progresses through Voice for Life, they can gain a different coloured ribbon to wear over their robes.
As ever, we are thankful to our music staff and singers, who work so hard to keep this cherished tradition alive and to enrich our worship. St Peter’s Choir will be taking a break for the summer, and will return to our Sunday worship in September.
