Renovation Fund update
We start 2025 with some good news! On the Christmas hamper raffle we made £1,500 for the Renovation Appeal! Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets or donated hamper food, and especially to Carolynne for all your hard work organising this. This is another great contribution to our appeal fund!
The Renovation Appeal has now raised a total of £44,543. This is the result of some wonderful work by dedicated fundraisers and generous supporters in the past year. We are aiming to reach the £50,000 mark by the end of the year – but can we make it happen? These initial steps to raise funds will help us to make future applications to grant-awarding bodies such as the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Renovation Appeal is a fundraising initiative to raise money for repairs to the church building fabric, including the urgent matter of the leaking roof. Please do all you can to support this, and continue to hold the Appeal Committee in your prayers.
