Our community gathers to remember before God those who have died for their country in the two world wars, and the many conflicts of the years that have followed.
Sunday 10 November: Remembrance Sunday
9:30am Remembrance Sunday Eucharist
10:45am A short Act of Remembrance & laying of wreaths at the Garden of Remembrance War Memorial in Rectory Lane Cemetery
2:30pm Royal British Legion parade
3:00pm Remembrance Service in St Peter’s Church
Monday 11 November: Armistice Day
10:55am A short Act of Remembrance with 1 minute’s silence at the Town War Memorial
Note: there is no service of Choral Evensong on Sunday. The reference in last week’s email was due to a database error.
