Kindness Week at Victoria School
Welcome back from our half term holiday! We are getting ready for our Kindness Week where our Kindness Ambassadors have organised a week of activities. We are starting off on Monday with Odd Socks, Wednesday is Positive Noticing Day where we notice all the positive things about each other and Thursday is our Kindness Festival. It has been great working with the ambassadors as they have had such great ideas to spread kindness across the school.
This week we looked at the story of Daniel and the Lions. We started off with the question about who do you love to talk to and what would it feel like if you were told it was against the law to talk to them. This started a big debate around being angry, frustrated and confused by this new law which helped them to understand the story of Daniel. The children had lots of thoughtful ideas and questions, and they decided that everyone should work together, not getting jealous with each other.
