Kindness events at Victoria School
We had a creative start to the week with the Jigsaw Arts group coming in, where the children took part in different workshops developing their dance, drama and singing skills. It was lovely seeing how involved the children were and how it developed their confidence in performing to others.
We also had our first Kindness Ambassador zoom meeting with other Kindness schools. We shared ideas about our Kindness Festival, getting donations for Hope Food Bank for Harvest and a kindness area on the playground to help children who may be finding playtimes difficult or if they were upset. We are planning lots of different events through the year and will keep you updated.
Next Monday, we will be coming to St Peter’s to celebrate our Harvest Festival, and the Spiritual Ambassadors will be leading the service through readings and prayers. We will also be performing our new song about the Mustard Seed which underpins our school vision and values.
