Kilimanjaro climb for the Hospice of St Francis
Dheran Ladwa is the owner of Dickman’s Pharmacy on Berkhamsted High Street. In September, he is climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds for the Hospice of St Francis. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, so he will be facing additional challenges with altitude sickness. Dickman’s often serve Hospice patients, and Dheran has been inspired by the wonderful, compassionate service offered there, enabling people to live their last days with dignity, happiness and joy. The Hospice needs £6m each year to fund its free care, and NHS funding covers less than 20% of their running costs. If you’d like to support Dheran, you can find his JustGiving web page at:
