High Street traffic scheme
Various new property developments planned in the town are to be accompanied by changes to the road layouts and traffic flow, including Chesham Road and Swing Gate Lane. Dacorum Council have helpfully provided 191 documents on their planning website for public consultation. Of particular interest may be Appendix 11.13 a4251: High St – Lower Kings Rd – A416 Kings Rd mitigation, which proposes banning right turns from the High Street onto Kings Road/Lower Kings Road.
