It’s summer and the calendar of events and festivals get a bit quieter, but here is a selection of autumn & winter dates to look forward to in the town and parish:
- Saturday 16 August: John Sayer Almshouses open day
- Saturday 6 September at 7:30 pm: Berkhamsted Choral Society concert (St Peter’s)
- Sunday 7 September: Blessing of the backpacks in St Peter’s & Sunday School picnic
- Sunday 7 September at 2:30pm: organ recital at All Saints – Tom Winpenny
- Wednesday 10 September at 8:00 pm: BHLMS 75th Anniversary talk (Civic Centre)
- Sunday 5th October: Confirmation service with Bishop Richard, acting Bishop of St Albans
- 12-21 September: Heritage Open Days
- Sunday 14 September: Ashridge Garden Party
- Sunday 21 September at 4:00 pm: Behind the Mirror concert – Songs Without Words (St Peter’s)
- 3-12 October: Little Missenden Festival
- Saturday 4 October at 7:30pm: Bridgewater Sinfonia Concert – Brahms Piano Concerto N° 1 (Berkhamsted School)
- Sunday 2 November: All Saints & All Souls
- Saturday 22 November at 7:30pm: Bridgewater Sinfonia Concert – Brahms & Sibelius (Centenary Theatre)
- Friday 28 November at 7:30 pm: Budapest Café Orchestra (Civic Centre)
- Sunday 23 November: Festival of Light
- Sunday 30 November: Advent Sunday
