Berkhamsted station underpass
Last year, the Friends of Berkhamsted Station worked with London Northwestern Railway to enhance the rather dreary pedestrian tunnel under the platforms with beautiful artwork of local landmarks by Berkhamsted artist Mary Casserley. The pictures included images of St Peter’s Church and Berkhamsted Castle. Now they have completed phase 2 of the project and have added pictures of Winkwell, the Ashridge Monument, Northchurch, Aldbury, Potten End and the Natural History Museum at Tring. Do go and have a look – they’re lovely!
