Age UK Community Christmas Concert
This Wednesday evening is the first of our big Christmas events at St Peter’s – Age UK Hertfordshire’s annual fundraising Community Christmas Concert with carols, readings and songs. Led by Fr Stuart, the concert will feature festive music (classic and chart-toppers) performed by the Ridgeway Chorale, John Knowles and Madalina Turan, and traditional congregational carols. There will also be traditional Gospel readings along with modern yuletide messages read by local dignitaries and celebrities, including the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire Annie Brewster, Victoria Collins MP, musician Jakko Jakszyk (King Crimson & Level 42), Berkhamsted Mayor Sue Jordan, Herts County Council Leader Richard Roberts and local entrepreneur Paul Ryan. Do please come and support this wonderful cause and enjoy your first carol sing of the season! Tickets are £8 – all proceeds to Age UK Hertfordshire. The ticket price includes a mince pie and mulled wine at the interval! Doors open 7pm.
