The Petertide Fair is a fun-filled summer fair in Berkhamsted when we raise money for good causes. It’s a popular event on our parish calendar and there’s fun for all the family out on the churchyard lawn.
There are lots of stalls, including bric-a-brac, toys, cakes, plants, books, as well as a barbeque, Pimms and real ale, a petting zoo and the ever-popular teddy zip wire! We have performances of live by local music groups and school bands. There are also games for everyone, such as prize raffles, a silent auction, a penalty shoot-out and a traditional English Punch and Judy show.
In previous years we have raised thousands of pounds for local charities such as Home-Start Dacorum, the Sunnyside Rural Trust, Iain Rennie Hospice, and the Swan Youth Centre, as well as a number of international charities.
