As part of our 800th anniversary celebrations, we’re holding a photography competition open to local residents and school pupils.

Who can enter?

If you live at an address with an HP4 postcode, or attend a school with an HP4 postcode (or are a pupil at Great Gaddesden Church of England Primary School) you can enter the competition.

What are the themes?

We’re looking for photographs on the themes of ‘Berkhamsted’ or ‘Celebration’.

What can I win?

There are three categories of entry, ‘Primary School’, ‘Secondary School’, and ‘Open’, and the winners of each category will be awarded £100 prize money, generously sponsored by EIC Insurance Services 

What are the key dates?

The deadline for entries is midnight on Friday 28th October.

The shortlisted entries will now be announced and go on display on Sunday 6th November, and the winners will be announced on Sunday 20th November.

How do I enter?

All digital files must be 20 megabytes or smaller. If are sending more than about 5MB, you may find it easier to use a free file transfer service such as WeTransfer
