PENTECOST
27 May 2007 We
welcome all who worship here today.
If you are a newcomer please speak to one of the welcomers
or to one of the clergy. We invite
you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or on the table near
the door of the church, and hand it to one of the welcomers. Communicant members of all Churches are
welcome to receive Holy Communion. If
you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing
and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: God,
who as at this time taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to
them the light of your Holy Spirit:
grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgement
in all things and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity
of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever AMEN Post
Communion: Faithful God, who fulfilled the promises of
Easter by sending us your Holy Spirit and opening to every race and nation
the way of life eternal: open our lips by your Spirit, that every tongue may
tell of your glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN We pray this week within the Anglican
Communion for the diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Canada,
