FOURTH
SUNDAY OF ADVENT We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of all
Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: God our redeemer, who prepared the Blessed
Virgin Mary to be the mother of your Son:
grant that, as she looked for his coming as our saviour, so may we be
ready to greet him when he comes again as our judge; who is alive and reigns with you, in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever AMEN Post Communion:
Heavenly Father, who chose the Blessed Virgin Mary to be the mother of
the promised saviour: fill us your
servants with your grace, that in all things we may embrace your holy will
and with her rejoice in your salvation; through Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN We pray this week within the Anglican

name but a few. And very special
thanks to our valuable staff of Clergy and Readers and our churchwardens, all
of whom do a great deal. Notes & Notices
