THE
THIRD SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of all
Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. We pray this week within the Anglican
Communion for the for our Diocese of St
Albans, Christopher our Bishop and for all his staff for the Centre for the
elderly at Gossoms End, for the Hospice of St Francis and for the Iain Rennie
Hospice at home, for those who need care and for those who provide
care in many ways for the lonely, the anxious, the bereaved, and
amongst the sick for Douglas Hartley, Judith Hill, Brenda Quarmby, Jenny
Cracknell, Phil Day, Fred Monnington, Muriel Norman, Joan Cook for those who have died recently: Matt Lovell and at their anniversaries pray for Hamish Douglas, Bernard Kempster, Florence
Conway and Karen Breakwell We
give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially the Blessed
Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At All Saints’ the weekly
prayers are for everyone who lives in PLEASE TAKE THIS PEW LEAFLET
AWAY WITH YOU as a
reminder of dates, subjects for prayer etc.
Do take copies for anyone not here today. Copies of the Sermon
