PENTECOST We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of all
Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: God,
who as at this time taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to
them the light of your Holy Spirit:
grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgement in all things
and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ
Jesus our Saviour, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and for ever

Communion: Faithful God, who
fulfilled the promises of Easter by sending us your Holy Spirit and opening
to every race and nation the way of life eternal: open our lips by your
Spirit, that every tongue may tell of your glory; through Jesus Christ our
Lord AMEN We pray this week within the Anglican
Communion for the Episcopal Church of for the Centre for the elderly at Gossoms End,
for the Hospice of St Francis and for the Iain Rennie Hospice at home, for
those who need care and for those who provide care in many ways. for Jordan Addy, Nasya Addy, Claire Below,
Olivia Black, Francesca Booth, Francesca Gurdon, Katya Khazanneh and Robert
Pain taking their First Communion today. for the lonely, the anxious, the bereaved, and
amongst the sick for Douglas Hartley, Judith Hill, Giles Higgins, Brenda
Quarmby, Jenny Cracknell for those who have died recently: Cimmy G. Delglyn and at their anniversaries pray for: Ethel King, Martin Cowley We
give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially the Blessed
Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At
All Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in PLEASE TAKE THIS PEW LEAFLET AWAY WITH YOU as a reminder of dates,
subjects for prayer etc. Do take
