FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you
will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand
it to one of the welcomers. Communicant members of all Churches are
welcome to receive Holy Communion. If
you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing
and carry a book so the minister knows. Kyries replace
the Gloria during Advent - musical

darkness of sin to the light of holiness, that we may be ready to meet you in
our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ

us faithful as we await the coming of your Son our Lord; that, when he shall
appear, he may not find us sleeping in sin but active in his service and
