THE FIFTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY 26 June 2005 Eucharistic Prayer F or G may be used at
Holy Communion Services today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you
will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand
it to one of the welcomers. Communicant members of all Churches are
welcome to receive Holy Communion. If
you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing
and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: Almighty God, send down upon your Church the riches of your Spirit, and kindle in all who minister the gospel your countless gifts of grace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN Post
Communion: Grant, O Lord, we beseech you, that the
course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by your governance, that
your Church may joyfully serve you in all godly quietness; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. AMEN We pray this week for Christopher our
Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for ourselves as we are led by the Churchwardens
and the PCC to appoint a Rector who will be able to guide us as we seek to
play our part in God’s plans for the future. for our Church Crèches,
Sunday Schools, Pathfinder and Young People’s Fellowship groups and for
Little Fishes & Chuckles toddler groups, for all who attend them and for
all who help to run them for the United Society for the Propagation of the
Gospel (and especially Andrew and Janice Proud working in for Alexandra Serena Moore and Polly Demelza Berryman being baptised at St Peter’s today and
for their parents and godparents for Brian
Jones & Lisa Dell being married at St Peter’s this week for the lonely, the anxious, the bereaved; and amongst the sick for Douglas Hartley,
May Kempster, Michael Taylor, Christine Tucker,
Christina Billington, Bob Essery,
Elizabeth Jackson, Rita Euden for those who have died recently: We
give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially the Blessed
Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At
All Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in PLEASE TAKE THIS PEW LEAFLET AWAY WITH YOU as a reminder of dates, subjects for prayer

CIRCULAR WALK in support of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY campaign
will start at Canal Field (nr the Tennis club) at 12.30pm Saturday 2 July. The walk will pause at the Castle, where it
is planned to link hands to form a symbolic white circle, then
continue along REACH
