PENTECOST 15 May 2005 Eucharistic Prayer E may be used at Holy
Communion Services today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you
will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand
it to one of the welcomers. Communicant members of all Churches are
welcome to receive Holy Communion. If
you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing
and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: Holy Spirit, sent by the Father, ignite in us your holy fire; strengthen your children with the gift of faith, revive your Church with the breath of love, and renew the face of the earth, through Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN Post Communion God, who as at this time taught the hearts of your
faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: grant us by the same Spirit to have a right
judgement in all things and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through
the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who is alive and reigns with you, in
the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN We pray this week for Christopher our
Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for ourselves as we are led by the Churchwardens
and the PCC to appoint a Rector who will be able to guide us as we seek to
play our part in God’s plans for the future. for all the schools in the
parish; their staff, pupils and governors; and our special responsibilities towards for the work of Dacorum Rent Aid for the lonely, the anxious, the bereaved; and amongst the sick for Douglas Hartley,
May Kempster, Michael Taylor, Christine Tucker,
Judith Hill, Martin Judd, Joanne Smith, Edna Campkin for those who have died recently: Victor Lintott and at their anniversaries pray for: Cynthia Wheeler, James Benton, Mollie

behind the hallway curtain in the Court House – some for over a year. They will be removed and taken to

PETERTIDE FAIR 10am – 3pm Saturday 25 June PARKING REMINDER Please remember that at St
Peter’s we do not have a car park before 6.30pm on weekdays so please do
not park in what is otherwise the NCH car park. THE PARISH OFFICE will
not be up to full strength 23-27 May (Jean away) and it would be greatly
appreciated if notices etc for the next two weeks could be received by next
Wednesday 18th. From
