MOTHERING SUNDAY 6 March 2005 Eucharistic Prayer A will be used at Holy
Communion Services today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of
all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar
rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: God of love, passionate and strong, tender and careful: watch over us and hold us all the days of our life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN Readings:

God, as a mother feeds her children at the breast you feed us in this
sacrament with the food and drink of eternal life: help us who have tasted your goodness to grow in grace within
the household of faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN We pray this week for
Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for ourselves as we are led by the
Churchwardens and the PCC to appoint a Rector who will be able to guide us as
we seek to play our part in God’s plans for the future. for the Centre
for the elderly at Gossoms End, for the Hospice of St Francis and for the
Iain Rennie Hospice at home, for those who need care and for those who
provide care in many ways. for Olivia
Hope Tasker being baptised at St Peter’s today and for her parents and
godparents for all who are preparing for
Confirmation for the lonely, the anxious, the
bereaved; and amongst the sick for
Michael Taylor, Pamela Christmas, Martin Judd, Judith Hill, Brenda Quarmby,
Harry Arnfield, Jenny Cracknell, Christine Tucker, Joanne Smith, Bob Essery,
Alan Cox, Douglas Hartley, Giles Higgins, Edna Campkin, May Kempster for those who have died

the recipients of last year's Outward Giving will be on display for
inspection at All Saints' until Sunday 6 March and then at St
Peter's. CRB VETTING – by law, any person supervising or involved with
children’s activities needs to be vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau. A register of all those who have already
been vetted is now displayed in both churches. If you take part in any activities involving children in either
St Peter’s or All Saints’ and are not on the register, please
